I hear that it is hard to get working visas for all the girls in each country, and also hard to find a venue that will have them. If you know of a place that would be good to have them, let someone from the superstars office know about it and what the specs are. they havent come anywhere near my end of the US this tour and they are usually in my state every year for at least two shows and a workshop or two.

I think because the bellydance community here in Germany is so strong and huge, it's so harder for the BDSS to get their foot in the door...

We have so many big festivals and shows with high quality dancers, so that the BDSS shows are not easily sold out. I saw BDSS three times in germany and there were always lots of free seats....not because of the show itself, the dancers are awesome and the whole show is great, but the audience here has such a big variety of bellydance events to choose from, and not enough money to see all ;-)) ... it's different in other european countries, where BDSS Shows are sold out within days, and many people get in touch with professional bellydance for the first time. So I can understand that those other countries are more interesting for the whole troupe...in Germany, bellydance has become more "common" already...

It isn't odd that they would not have dates there. I am not from Germany, but they have been canceling A LOT of dates recently, even here in the U.S. I have no idea what is happening. With the mess ups with the DVD's and show cancellations I'm wondering if the BDSS is becoming a sinking ship or if there is another reason for all of these 'flaws' that seem to be taking place all at once. hmmmm.....
