Customer Service COMPLAINT

I placed a $126 order one month ago today, and it hasn't arrived. I've sent three email inquiries (there's no telephone number on the BDSS store website -- how convenient) and I've yet to get a reply. Over the past few years, I've spent a lot of money at BDSS workshops and shows, and I own most of the DVDS. I've flown to workshops and shows all over the country. Never have I been this dissatisfied and frustrated with a business in my life. I'm sorely disappointed in my recent shopping experience, and want my money back. Who do I have to talk to in order to resolve this completely unacceptable issue???

forgot to say BDSS merchandising. I always check on this tribe with high hopes that maybe some day they will come to South America, but it is just only about gringos....

have they never come to Latin America?
I must say they're not only "for gringos", but are pretty selective in Europe, too. It s not that long a way from the UK or France to Germany or Austria. I believe they visited these countries on their first tour (I saw the ad, but did not know them in 2004). After that, they never showed again.
How sad to keep touring the US and UK, and neglect so many other countries they have major dvd sales in, and people waiting for them to perform.

You'd be surprised how hard it is to find venues who are interested in having them. Of you really want them to perform in your area, why don't you e-mail them and suggest a few venues for them to try and hire?

Last year they toured in Italy, France, Spain and Belgium.

AS far as South America, I have no idea what the protocol is as far as obtaining work visas for the girls. It's a lot harder to put together an international tour than you think.

Oh I had no idea.. well what venues are they currently performing in?
I remember the ad I saw back in 2004 was for jazz legend Joe Zawinul's club Birdland, Vienna.
It s a rather small venue. The stage is not small, but not comparable to a theatre stage either. Table/restaurant atmosphere. Tickets were 40 euros if I rmmbr correctly. I saw the ad only in front of the club, so no major advertisement.

So I dont know what their price and expectations are - but Vienna due to its large Muslim immigrant community stages Balkan and Orient festivals in spring and autumn. I can hardly imagine there s not a place to perform for them.. many clubs showcastin ethnic music..
Since I am not in the event business, it is hard for me to estimate which theatre or club would pay their price (and how high it is - I am guessing more than a dozen of performers, especially famed ones, have a pretty high price), though..

Well, what usually happens is a dance company will hire a venue and the money they make back with merchandise sales and ticket sales goes towards paying the theater hire.

My suggestion would be to e-mail someone at the LA office, ask what their expectations for a venue are, do some research and e-mail them back with suggestions....I'm sure they would be greatful.

The BDSS have performed in all sorts of venues and I'm sure Miles would be open to any ideas anyone may have....just be proactive and make the suggestion. :)

I just called about the Tribal LA Dvd. I ordered it on June 26. It's been almost 3 weeks. I have also emailed and not gotten any response. I'm really disappointed. I ordered from them so I could get it sooner. If I would have known . . . I would have just ordered from Amazon and saved a few bux.

No one answered, so I left a message. Hope this gets resolved soon. I was REALLY hoping to have it way sooner than this. Very disappointed.
